    Trampoline Installation in Northern Ireland: Who Does It

    We supply and deliver BERG trampolines. We do not install them. This page explains who does, and what to sort out before you order.

    Above-ground trampolines

    An above-ground trampoline stands on legs and needs no groundwork. It is assembled following BERG's manual, which comes with the trampoline. The manual also gives the free space the model needs around it.

    InGround and FlatGround trampolines

    An InGround is set into the lawn with a low raised edge. A FlatGround sits completely level with the lawn. Both need groundwork before the trampoline goes in.

    That groundwork is done by an independent installer, a landscaper or a builder. They look at your garden, quote for the job and follow BERG's manual for the model you have chosen. What the job involves depends on the garden, which is why it needs someone to see it, and why we do not publish instructions or send drawings.

    What to decide before you order

    • Which type you want: above ground, InGround or FlatGround.
    • The shape and size, and where in the garden it will go. We check the model against your garden in the free garden consultation.
    • Whether you want a safety net. InGround models are sold with or without one. Round FlatGround models are sold without a net.
    • Who will do the groundwork, and whether you have their written quote.
    • How the installer will get to the spot, for example through a side gate.
    • When the work will be done. We confirm the delivery date when you order, so agree the installer's date around that.

    Questions to ask an installer

    • Have you fitted a BERG InGround or FlatGround trampoline before?
    • Will you follow BERG's manual for this model?
    • How will you handle water in my soil?
    • What happens to the excavated soil? Is taking it away included?
    • Is making good the lawn around the trampoline included?
    • How long will the job take, and when can you start?
    • Will you give me a written quote that lists what is and is not included?
